COTH Guest in the Pulpit, Joelle Brummett Beller

BY

COTH looks forward to welcoming Reverend Joelle Brummett Beller, Fuller Teaching Professor, who will be preaching  July 3rd and 10th. Pastor Joelle’s theme will be “Godly Play” which corresponds to Pastor Dee Cooper’s Sabbatical theme. Following is a brief bio for Pastor Brummett Beller:

Joelle Brummett Beller is a Fuller Theological Seminary graduate and a PC(USA) minister. She has served in various capacities as a pastor since 2000.  Having grown up in Colorado and taken her first pastoral call in Montana, she finds God easily in the outdoors.

Joelle has worked with youth, young adults, new church development folks; she has led retreats for women and young leaders in the church; and most recently she has become passionate about ministry to children and their families.   She and her husband, Scott, have lived in an intentional Christian community eight of their 17 years of marriage and are proponents of building a strong Christian community wherever they are, as a foundation for ministry.

Joelle is a woman who wears many different hats.  She is a wife, mom of three boys, minister, adjunct professor and a crazy movie buff.   She also loves to read, preach, pray, listen, dance and sing.
